  Introducing SFCO

he award-winning SFCO, established in 1982, is celebrating its third decade of bringing FREE classical music to the public. Each season, the volunteer musicians of the SFCO present 5 high-quality concerts of classical favorites, rarely heard repertoire, accessible contemporary works, and world premieres of compositions by NM composers.
In addition, the SFCO presents: The Anatomy of a Symphony: A concert preview featuring a fun and enlightening talk by Music Director Oliver Prezant with musical illustrations by the SFCO.

Reading of New Works: Three evenings featuring new symphonic music written by New Mexico composers of all ages.
Composition Competition: An annual competition for New Mexico composers. The winning work is premiered at an SFCO concert.
Let's Dance!: The annual swing and ballroom dance party featuring the SFCO and the Santa Fe Great Big Jazz Band.

The SFCO is the community, performing for the community, free of charge.
